March: More Solo news on Eloy; He has finally signed a record deal and is probably relaising the single 'fly to the moon' in June.

Apart from birthdays, I've heard that Eloy's done with his solosingle, and is very satisfied with the other singles as well, and it should be out any time now!
And just some old news here, Stephen and Eloy were in Scotland to pick up Boyzone's award for, erm I don't remember, I think it was 'best international band'. And on the 12th of March Eloy was alone in Holland, while Stephen was doing some stuff in England, I think he peformed 'A New Beginning' on a tv-show, but it hasn't been shown on television yet. But Stephen came home to Holland perfectly for Eloy's birthday.
February: Some news on Eloy now, I've heard he's working with one of the Modern Talking's with his new album. I'm very impressed 'coz I think he can get throughout Europe if he works with that guy. You know who Modern Talking are, right? Reconise these songs... 'You're my heart, you're my soul', 'You are not alone' and maybe 'Sexy sexy lover'? I'm very exited.
Lately in the Stephen Gately mailingslist (which I'm a member of) I've heard a lot of fans discuss the matter that some abusive fans outside Steo and Eloy's house in Holland have bothered Stephen and Eloy a lot. These are two of the messages:
The Q:
I came across something on
another Caught In The Act website that kind
of surprised and, somewhat, disturbed me. Anyway, basically, it
said that
Eloy and Stephen had been on holiday (in summer '99) and they'd
come back to
find that some fans had broken into their Holland house and were
temporarily
living there!! It then said that they put a fence up around the
house
because of this "incident". But, then, some fans
managed to climb over the
fence (breaking it in the process) and started hurling a load of
verbal
abuse at Stephen, warning him to stay away from Eloy and stop
brainwashing
his head with ideas of homosexuality e.t.c, e.t.c. The website
then said
that they've now employed a bodyguard to stand at the front door
at all
times in case something like that happens again. Does anybody
know the
story behind this (if there is one)?? Or is it just another one
of *those*
silly stories started off by silly, immature fans on the
internet?? I'm
guessing at the latter. Cheers for your help.

This is Marion; an Eloy
fan! All that's written above is sadly true! I know; I
wasn't there that particular day; but I know it from a pal who
was among those
girls; or at least knows a
girl who was there. I didn't know that somone broke into Eloy's
house while they
were on holiday and this was the reason why he had the fence
built. Fact is,
they have a fence now; and
Eloy still has bodyguards around temporarily. There were one a
few days after
this fence incident as well as a few weeks ago.
Well, one girl tried to clib over the fence and demolished it.
Eloy got quite
angry! Although I'm wondering how such a solid fence could get
demolished by one
girl..... some swore at Steve and one girl even jumped in front
of Eloy's car.

January (2000): In the latest issue of Boyzone mag stephen says that he has recently bought Eloy an original production cell from Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' which almost costed 9000 pounds (erm...oh my god)! Well, if they always buy these so called expensive gifts for eachother it must mean that their love is so strong that all the money in the world couldn't tear them apart. Stephen also bought Eloy a sporty audi car a cupple of months ago... but of course, Eloy buys Steo a lot as well.
So, I'm just going to tell you what I've found out about them lately. I heard that Eloy is back in the studio recording, and that Steve said that he wouldn't mind if Eloy's album would get a higher position than Steve's album. He would be happy for eloy he said, that's sweet isn't it (as usual)? And as you know Steve will be relaising his debut-solo-single very soon. I really hope both their albums do well, they deserve it, don't ya think?
Dec... I'm sure you've all heard that Steve is spending his dream New year celebration with he and Eloy's families on New year. Appearantly Eloy is cooking but they will maybe even need some caterers. They are going to buy everybody a special gift and enjoy themselves. There are a lot of you wondering if they'll ever sing together. And they maybe will, maybe even next year! But right now they are both consentrated on their soloworks...
Nov... We saw that Eloy and Stephen were sitting next to eachother at the Mtv europe music awards 1999 in which Boyzone won 2 awards by the way! But they weren't actually sitting next to eachother from the start, Keith's wife was sitting in the middle of the boyz, well you can't snuggle then can you, so when the second award was presented by Geri, Steve and Lisa exchanged places so Lisa could sit next to her sweatheart and Steve could sit next to his darling Eloy! Another thing, Steve was really nervous at the awards when he first arrived there with Eloy because it was their first public appearance. But when he saw how great the fans were he calmed himself up just like his boyfriend who was really cool and happy that night.
